i popped round to the ‘irma boom’ exhibition again this week and noticed one of the books on show (from her private collection) which provides a clear point of reference to a book she made later on (lower image), nice to see the way she translated her inspiration into something new… i wonder how many designers would be prepared to share their inspiration like this, not many i would guess…
